Well I was going to go to Lululemon for my weekly store visit/fit review, but honestly I don't think I have much motivation. I got home from work at 8 tonight, so I don't know if it is my mental exhaustion or lack of exciting products to lure me off my sofa.
The upload had some pretty things, but I feel like I have tried on most of the recent items. I really want that pretty pink saloam stripe Nice Asana jacket, but none of the DC stores listed it in their product drop. I like the Falling Freely neck warmer in angel wing/silver grey, but at $78...that's a little too much for me. I'll get a much nicer scarf at Kate Spade, Coach, or JCrew if I'm going to be spending over $75 on a scarf.
I still can't get over the Keep it Cozy jacket. I don't even want to look at it in the store because it will probably anger me. There is no way that jacket should be even worth $50, let alone over $100. No zipper pull, no details, no omega, no structure.....just a boxy looking generic jacket. It looks like a bargain jacket....and I'm saying that without trying to be over dramatic.
So sorry LLL, I'm going on a vacation and you're not invited.
If you are looking for new places to find slightly used Lululemon, I recently starting shopping a little bit on a site called Poshmark.com. Like Pinterest, you pin photos to your "closet" and people can buy or swap them. There's even fashion parties, where you list certain types of clothes in an album. The pros is I've seen some really great stuff go for really cheap. Since this isn't Ebay, where people are looking for particular types of items, I've seen unnamed Lululemon items listed and sold for almost nothing. The downer is the actually selling part. It's a good deal for the buyers, but the sellers give PoshMark 20% of their earnings. They claim its for effortless selling, as they provide their credit card service and pre-paid shipping labels...but I'm not convinced that it's worth 20% of my sale.
I ended up getting a pair of Ugg Montclair boots in Sand for $100. I have been looking for these boots forever. They were originally $230, but I can't find them anywhere in my size and color I wanted. I really liked that these laced up, giving a more sleeker look instead of a bumpy ankle. I think I've seen a pair on eBay with the boots not cuffed too.
The payment part was easy. I just paid through the site like I was buying something online. I heard back from the girl, but she hasn't confirmed my shipping. I'll let you guys know if I had a good or bad experience with PoshMark. I'm worried that my boots will be different than the pic. I had that happen waaaay back in the day. I bought a new Coach bag in college, and it was a terrible, terrible knockoff that looked nothing like the photo. Luckily for me, PayPay was able to refund my money.
Well that's it for now! I'm flying out tomorrow morning to Orlando. I'm going to try to sweet talk my sister to swing me by the Lululemon outlet. I haven't had much luck in the past, but it might be a little better during the week!
