I'm baaaack! Orlando Lululemon outlet, birthday goodies, and a canceled store visit.

I'm baaaack! I finally got home tonight. It was around 8 pm, and I was too pooped to make a Lululemon store visit (not to mention there wasn't anything too exciting to investigate in person). If there is anything super exciting tonight, I'll be sure to check it out this week in the store.

So I had my sister drag me over to the Lululemon outlet. I believe there used to be only 2 locations in the U.S., but now the Lululemon website shows 6 different locations.

First off....I want to apologize for the really, really crappy photos. I was only able to go like 20 min before the store closed so I was in a rush. I also didn't want to look like a weird creeper, taking photos of the racks of clothes.

There were some newer items at the front. Mainly store staples like Swiftlys, but they also had some Nice Asana jackets that haven't been on WMTM. I'm wondering if these are some things that will go on markdown in the near future.

Overall, I would say there were three categories: the old, the ugly, and the freshly cut

The Old

There was a lot of excessive product. A lot of this was on WMTM, but quickly disappeared. There were a lot of bras, swimwear, and bottoms that seemed to be accumulated in mass amounts. Energy, Free to Be, Ta Ta Tamers, Flow Y bras in several sizes and colors...mainly from the summer season marked down to $29. Swimwear was a steal with $34 per top/bottom, but there was not a lot of variety in sizes. All of the bottoms were a size 4. If you are tiny, you could get a really good deal on their bikinis.

VERY surprised to see the Sand to Savasana bag in spry blue. I knew the raspberry glo was popular and wasn't expecting to see this bag in the outlets....

The Ugly

I saw a LOT of fugly rejects sprinkled around the store, including these ugly circus-like Forme jackets.

The Freshly Marked

There was a descent amount of items that were freshly marked down. They had larger quantities than on the WMTM page, so you might find something you wanted on markdown in the size you needed. One of the items I bought was the Race Me short sleeve in plum....there's only a size 2 on the site, but there were plenty of sizes in the outlet store.

So here are a few things I tried...

I was really excited to see a Ta Ta Tamer in inkwell WAFS print. I have this print in Inspire crops and love them. Unfortunately, it was slightly too small. I also tried spry blue groovy shorts and didn't love them.

Tempted on the sizzle CRB for $29, but it didn't look good on my skin tone.

I ended up walking away with 2 Classy Caps, a Race Me short sleeve, and Club shorts in coyote for $128. The Classy Caps were a steal! I got a beaming blue and a cool breeze one for $9 each....they were my only steal, comparing it to $28. Ladies golf hats are so hokey....they have fugly flowers, plaid, or gawdy logos. I love that Lululemon's hat doesn't have an obvious logo (it's hidden in the back). They are my go-to hat for golf....now I have four!

I bought the club shorts for $59. They weren't that great, but cheaper than $78. I don't think they are worth the full price at all. The teal colored ones were cute, but they were so thin the pockets and liner showed through. They were really comfortable and the material felt great. I'm thinking of getting a membership at Andrews AFB golf course next year, and they have a little more conservative dress code than the public courses I go too. Since I needed a pair of longer golf shorts, I snatched these up....but I wouldn't recommend them at full price.

The SS tee was cute, but I don't think it could ever be worth its full value at $68. That's ridiculous!!! Even a Swiftly SS is cheaper than this shirt, and it's really not much different. I feel that the markdown price ($44) is what it should have been at full price. I don't have many tees, and I have a conservative gym at work so I liked this enough to get it.

So I was bad and got a birthday present for myself (its tomorrow). I got a Coach watch and Jimmy Choo sunglasses when I was at the Miami airport.  I haven't splurged on sunglasses in three years, so I have been on the lookout for a pair I can get a lot of wear out of. The case was cute too.

My husband has been BEGGING me to buy another watch. I have a Kate Spade bow watch I wear all the time. I wasn't expecting the edges to be so sharp! It doesn't poke me, but it scratches my husband all the time and he ends up cursing everything time I wore it. I made sure to get one without corners.....its round so I think I'm safe :).

So that's it for now! Sorry there was no store visit! I'm going to stay up for the upload....technically a birthday upload! Crossing my fingers for something good!  I have photos from the trip and I will try to post them soon!
