I had a moment to swing by my local Lululemon today, so I'm going to wrap up both of my store visits from this week in one post.
The first visit from June 19th:

105f Singlet in size 4, Speed Shorts in size 6 |
I was really looking forward to trying on the 105f Singlet in bruised berry. They were sold out of size 2, and I had to try on a size 4. I'm a size 4 in Cool Racerbacks and other bra-less tanks, but I typically size down to a 2 in the singlet. I find the size 4 a little too loose and long, and I don't like how it is almost as long as my shorts.
The Speed Shorts in spray dye bruised berry were cute, but they were too thick and small. There was almost no stretch to them...I didn't really find them comfortable.

105f Singlet in size 4 and size 2 |
Here's the white in a size 2 compared to a size 4. I'm really surprised that a size 2 is so large that it works for me. Although 1-2 sizes down, it is still a very loose fitting tank. At least with the size 2 it looks like I'm still wearing shorts!

Hotty Hot Shorts in size 6 |
I really loved these shorts! I knew right away that they were coming home with me. I really loved the breeziness of the fit and the silkiness of the material. You can check my
earlier post if you want to see some detailed photos.
|
Swiftly Tank in size 4 |
I'm not sure if they adjusted the sizing or not, but the size 4 seemed a little bigger than I remembered. At one point, I was wearing a size 6 because I didn't want my tank so fitted. The size 6 was a little too loose for my preference so I switched back to a size 4. I sold all of my other Swiftly Tanks so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it feels a little looser than I remember.
|
Mudra Tank in size 4, Milky Way Wunder Under Crops (denim) size 6 |
I FINALLY got to try on the milky way Wunder Under Crops (WUC) and I really liked them. Even though I liked them, I didn't think I would get a lot of wear out of them in the summer time. They were made of the denim luon which was really thick and opaque....just not too breathable in the summertime. (If this was the spring or the fall I probably would have snatched these up.)
The Mudra Tank was really nice. I tried it in heathered cadet blue. The material was soft and really thick. My only complaint was the sizing...I thought it was a tad too small for me in a size 4. I tried the size 6 in my second store visit, but it was a little too big. I already got a few items this week so it wasn't too hard to part with the tank.
|
Embody Crops in size 6 |
I really liked the Embody Crops in heathered cadet blue. They were really thin but still opaque. I just got the Dhanurasana Crop in heathered cadet blue so I didn't "need" these.
I ended up buying the Swiftly Tank in neon pink, 105f Singlet in white, and Hotty Hot Shorts in cadet blue pretty palm print.
Store Visit on June 22:
|
Lululemon Club Polo in white (size 4), Athleta Swagger Skort in charcoal (size small) |
I was on my way to golf so I decided to make another trip by my Lululemon. I wasn't expecting to buy anything, but there were a few new items I wanted to try on. Luckily for my wallet, none of the items were tempting enough.
|
Pacesetter Skirt tall in size 6 |
The Pacesetter Skirt in bruised berry was really cute. I did like that it was four-way material. I already have a few Pacesetter Skirts so I decided not to buy it.
|
Hotty Hot Shorts in black and camo (size 6) |
I really loved my Hotty Hot shorts in cadet blue pretty palm print; so much, I decided to try them on in black and camo. None of these colors were winners for me so they didn't make it home. If Lululemon came out with solid bruised berry, bleached coral, or any other of their current colors, I would have bought another pair.
|
Serenity Pants in size 6 |
OMG....I really had to talk myself out of buying the Serenity Pants. The material is so amazing. I love French Terry material, but this was even softer than normal. Seriously....so hard to turn down.
|
Mudra Tank in size 6, Serenity Shorts in size 6 |
The Serenity Shorts in cadet blue were also really comfortable. I didn't really see a good purpose for these expect for lying around the house. Couldn't justify $40 pajama shorts so they stayed in the store as well.
I also tried the Mudra Tank in size 6. Just like I thought, the size 6 was slightly too big as the size 4 was slightly too small.
|
Refresher Dress in size 6 |
The Refresher Dress was really cute, but it wasn't really my style. I had the same issue with the
Yoga Over Skirt a few months ago.... really cute but not my style. I thought about getting it hemmed to knee length, but I didn't want to alter something I probably wouldn't wear much. I completely understand why everyone seems to like this dress, but it wasn't for me.
So nothing from my second store trip, but I'm still eyeing the Serenity Pants! Maybe I'll get them if they go on sale. Did you guys buy anything this week? I should be getting my Chai Time Pullover and Run Times shorts tomorrow!
