Lululemon - Practice Cotton

I decided to go to Georgetown to return my Run Times shorts in Pretty Palm Print. I really liked the fit...I just don't wear a lot of heavy black and white. I saw that we will be getting a Cadet Blue Pretty Palm Print in the Hotty Hot shorts, so I decided to take them back and wait for them.

I do have a store visit post coming up! Bare with me...I'm being a tad lazy, so I'm pushing out this one first. I think I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed with most of the items I tried on so I'm not super motivated to write a Negative-Nelly review.

From Left to Right: Wunder Under Roll Down Pants in Fatigue, Dhanurasana Crop II in Cadet Blue, Live Natural Crop in Ombre Soot/Heathered Grey (All size 6).

One of my favorite Lululemon materials this year has been their "Practice Cotton" This material is really soft, matte, and a-MAZ-ingly comfortable. The material is not great on sweat marks, but it has been one of my favorite types of material for low impact activities and casual wear.

I already have the Wunder Under Roll Down Pants in Fatigue and the Live Natural Crop in Ombre Soot/Heathered Grey (see above photo), but I saw a new pair of crops in the Georgetown store that caught my eye....the Dhanurasana Crop II.
T-Rex hates Yoga
Now I know it is probably a yoga name, but I can't read the word "Dhanurasana" without imagining a Dinosaur. :) But that's probably just me!

The Dhanurasana Crop II, aka "Dinosaur Crop," is like the baby offspring of the Wunder Under Roll Down Pant and the Live Natural Crop. It has about 1.5-2" more in length than the Live Natural Crop, but it also has the ruching in back like the Live Natural Crop.

I really like the keyhole detail on these pants. The Roll Down pants can be a little long at times....so I don't wear them as much. These are a perfect in between pair for me. I'm 5'7 so I think if you were even a 3-4" shorter they would still work

The rise isn't as low as the Live Natural Crops, but they have the same ruching in the butt. I personally really like this detail and think it makes the bum look good.

Here's a comparison of my Roll Down Wunder Under Pants in Fatigue. As you can see...I'm 5'7 and these are crazy long on me.....

I do like that you can chose to leave the waistband up or down. It helps keep your tanks looking smooth when you wear it up.

I know this doesn't match...but here is another view of the Live Natural Crops. They are pretty long for crops and they are only 1.5-2" shorter than the Dhanurasana II Crops. The Live Natural Crops also have a seam running down the back of the leg while the Dhanurasana II Crops do not.

This crop has the lowest waist band of the three. All of the material in all three styles and colors feel about the same. They also have the same thickness and opaqueness.

As a bonus...I'm throwing in a comparison of the Every Yogi Tee and Cool Racerback in Stroll Stripe Heathered Cashew/White. I thought the tee would be good for casual wear, so I wasn't that upset that I missed the Cool Racerback version online and in my local stores. I've worn my Every Yogi Tee a few times as casual wear but haven't busted it out for the gym yet....I kept wishing I had gotten it in the CRB to wear with all of my solid crops! Well....Georgetown happened to have it, so I got it! Whoo hoo. :) I know its the same print, but I actually like both versions!

From Top to Bottom: Cool Racerback and Every Yogi Tee (both Stroll Stripe Heathered Cashew/White and both size 4)

As you can see, they both fit completely different. I think this print was very overlooked...especially since it looks great with casual clothes too! The cashew color on the tank is a little more saturated than the tee. I never thought of pairing it with my cadet crops, but I really like the look. Its a much softer combination than with a really bold color!

Lot's of posts to wrap up. I have the Store Visit, Fitness Report: Yoga Crops (comparison of all of my yoga crop brands), organization for your athletic apparel, comparison of the Oiselle Mac Roga to the Rogas, and VS Sports Bra (there is a sale on the Angel Bras I reviewed a few months ago!) I'm still putting away boxes in the living room, so I'm probably just going to post the Lululemon Store Visit post tonight.

I also have a Lorna Jane review of the Oceania Excel Tank later this week. I'm not really a fan of super athletic tanks, but I really like how this one was ombre and the laser cut details were pretty. I'm glad I got it when I did because there is only a size large left.

So I'm going to wrap up the Store Visit after this post. Let me know if there is any particular post you want me to hit next (Fitness Report: Yoga Crops, Organization for Athletic Apparel, Comparison of Oiselle Mac Roga vs. Roga, and VS Sports Bras)....the power is YOUR hands!
