I just got back from my first flying trapeze lesson today! It was SUCH a blast! The class was at Trapeze School New York (Washington DC Location) and it was two hours long. There were 8 ladies in my class. The first hour and half we worked on the technique in the air and the last half hour we did catching with a partner.
I love trying new things, and this was definitely an addicting experience. They had a promo for first time flyers....buy another class and get another one free! So I will have 2 more classes this month!
They also had a great deal on photos. If you buy a memory stick, you can purchase photos from the next classes for only $10.

BTW....I wore my Lululemon White Stripe Swiftly tank, Heathered Black Ebb to Studio bra, Blue Ellie Body Map leggings, and my silly Target brand whale socks (we have to wear socks).
I don't know if I will keep up the lessons, but it was a great experience. I can see this being an addiction though! I might try aerial silks next...it is such a beautiful form of art, and quite a good upper body workout!
If you're in the area, or close to one of their five other schools (New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico) I highly recommend you give it a try! You might overcome a fear or create an addiction....either way, it's a great time!
