I finally got my Brisk Bloom Speed shorts in and I was really excited...until my husband pointed out that they were a little baggy and flattened my butt out. I pulled out my other two pairs, and I was stunned how different each pair fit! Notice the difference of all three size 6 shorts:
Although I really like the fit of the speed shorts, they have never been my "thing" so I only had one pair for the longest time...the WAFS in white. They do run small for a size. They fit like a pair of "booty" shorts.
The next pair is the happy middle...the chevron dot in black. These are a little roomier, but still have some shape to them. I like the WAFS, but I would prefer a tiny bit more coverage....I am 29....not 19. :)
The newest pair is my brisk bloom print ones. These look pretty good from the side, but my husband was right. They are really baggy in the back...they almost look like grooves in the back. They are loose around the waist, but not so much I would want to size up. Despite husband approval, I'm still keeping these for the gym at work. I can wear whatever I want at my apartment gym, but I like to dress a little more conservatively at my work gym. I like that these are a little looser, even if they don't "enhance" my rear.
Just a note of caution ladies...if you order online, these run big. Consider sizing up if you already if you happen to be in between sizes!
