Black Friday at Tyson's Corner! - Bloomingdales/Lululemon Review

So I didn't go to Lululemon's 1 AM event at Tyson's Corner....too early in the morning and I think I'm getting a little (*gasp*) burnt out from workout clothes.

I dropped my husband off from work at 0630 and decided to go to Tyson's Corner for Black Friday. I figured Georgetown would be absolute madness, and Tyson's Corner at least had free parking.

Dressed for comfort today. I'm not getting all dressy for madness. I'm so glad I didn't...I was tired by the end of the day! Wore my Lululemon Open Your Heart LS in deep zinfandel, skinny jeans, Frye boots, and Old Navy scarf.

Stopped by Bloomingdales....and oh my....so many pretty dresses and they were all 25%.  This black lace beauty is by Alice + Olivia. It was one of my favorites but at $600, it was a little out of budget today...even at 25%

I really liked the red color on this Cynthia Steffe dress. It was much cheaper, but it was hard to love it after the first one!

OMG....looove Karen Miller. Her dresses have the most amazing materials. This was a size 6 and I would have definitely needed an 8. Runs super small. I would have tried an 8, but I had so many dresses in the stall already.

I ended up getting this Trina Turk dress. It was originally $328 and I got it for $115. The material is amazing and its a great lady-like dress. I wish I had better light to show the detail! It's exactly a deep zin-like color too.

I also got this Alice + Olivia dress 25% off. Its a tight dress, but I love that its all covered in the front and sexy in the back!

Went into Lululemon and tried on the Practice Daily pants, Yogi Racerback, and raspberry Power Y. The pants were "full-on" and they were sheer! I had nude underwear, and I was so embarrassed when I bent over! I couldn't believe it because my inkwell crops were NOT this sheer! The tank felt cheap. It feels like it would easily snag too.

The Base Runner hoodie was really soft and comfortable, but the hood....on my....the hood.....it looked like something for an alien! I wouldn't feel cut at all with the hood up! The Calm and Cozy was cute, but I was not a fan of the horizontal sitching on the side pannels. I still love this winter orchid....I'm waiting for a CRB or a Ebb to Studio tank!

Also tried the Keep it Up jacket in inkwell laceoflauge. I was not a fan of the fit. It was kind of a "blah" jacket for me.

The Special Edition (SE) Scuba was definitely a neat concept. The zippers took the sleeves off really easily. I was impressed how easily it converted to a vest, and I also liked the fit of the vest. The logo and the price was a buzz kill for me. It was almost $180. For that price I could have bought a hoodie AND a vest. Like other people, I also didn't like the logo on the side. There already is one on the hood, so it doesn't make any sense.

The Base Runner pants were cute and cozy....I might have been tempted if they had inkwell, but I'm glad because I didn't need them. They are more for lounging than workouts anyways.

The Weekend Warrior bag was soooo pretty in deep zinfandel. I already have a fadded zap yoga bag. If I didn't already get those two dresses, I might have snatched this one up. It has so many functional  pockets and the material is beautiful. It's material is much thicker than my other one.

So that was it. I went to Lucy, Athleta, and Under Armour but nothing striking enough to review. UA's colors were too neon for me. Lucy had high prices, but they were a little cheap and boring looking. Athleta had 20% off storewide, but it was too hippie for me. I didn't see anything I wanted to try one. Maybe that is why I don't mind paying more for Lulu. I find some pieces occasional here and there, but it is the only store I can consistently find things I love.

Any Black Friday shopping for you guys? I was lucky...I did all of my family shopping in advance so I've been done for awhile...the first time ever!
