Lululemon Upload!

Wow...what a lot of the "great granite" print tonight!

I think Lululemon has been going a little nuts with their prints lately. It seems like that the last few groups of prints have been over produced into exhaustion. Secret garden, flowabunga, petite fleur, and camo had been made into every product imaginable....plus more.

Tonight is no exception. Tonight is the night of "great granite" as we saw all black and white and a stone print in the midst of summer. Pretty bleak and boring for those supposed cheery summer nights. While I do like a great print, I feel like it should have been a compliment to a solid color pallet. I don't know anyone who needs the Bring Back the Track Jacket, Scuba Hoodie (x 2), Open Your Heart Tank, Cool Racerback, Wunder Under Crops, Inspire Crops, Speed Shorts, and Pacesetters...all in lovely "great granite." Seems a little excessive, no?

While the Weightless Crew is nice in crisp white and black, I find the quality a little lacking for $78. It is great as a cover-up in the middle of a humid summer, but the price should be at a lower price point. I remember it fitting a little boxy and understated for such a high price point. If it was more like $58, I would have grabbed at least one...ok....probably 2-3....but I can't even allow myself to buy one at full price.

I like that Lululemon is offering some new Lab-inspired items. The pieces are edgy and stylish, but none of the items have been for me.  I can appreciate their appeal to others as I pass on these.

I really love the Bring Back the Track Jacket. I'm VERY excited to be able to try it on in local stores to find my proper size. I think there is something very elegant about the back of the jacket....especially how it drapes. I could "settle" for one in black, but I'm going to patiently wait for one in color.

I did have to snatch up the Tuck and Flow and Tye Dye Swiftly SS. I'm not sure if I'm going to love the Tuck and Flow, but I love my Exhalation Pullover so I think I might. I sized down to a size 4 in my Exhalation Pullover so I did the same for the Tuck and Flow. I also ordered the Swiftly in a size 4. It seems like they are running a little large lately. The size 4 used to be tight on me so I sized up to a size 6. I thought the size 6 was too loose and sized back down to a 4. Now the size 4 doesn't look that tight anymore. I don't know! :) I give up.

How did you feel about "great granite" and tonight's upload? I'm not typically a huge black and white person, but I'm really excited to get the tye dye Swiftly!

Lululemon Upload

Wow...a very underwhelming upload last night.

I think I'm going to order the 105f in Sheer Lemon. I think the tank would be too "sheer" in a CRB, but I really like the color as loose tank. I'll order it a size down (size 2) because it runs big.

I really wish the Wee Wheezy shorts didn't have the black trim. I really don't like the bold contrast that doesn't match the color scheme. White would have been so much better than black, although I would have rather seen a color that was in the print.

I might order this Hotty Hot Skirt in the plaid print. When I tried it on in the store, I was surprised that it was fingertip length. I was expecting it to be much shorter. I have worn a lot of Pacesetter Skirts (in Tall) for golf, but I'm really starting to dislike the fact that they flare out so much. I like that the Hotty Hot Skirt is more fitted....Plus I feel every female golfer should have at least one plaid skirt! :)

I was super bummed that the US did not get this pretty Tie Dye Swiftly. This was on the Canadian side and sold out overnight. Although I would have rather had a cadet blue tie dye, I'll still snatch this one up if it makes it to the US stores.

I have been super jealous of all of the Australian products this summer. If we got even half of theirs, I would have bought so much more Lululemon than other brands (i.e., Athleta, Lorna Jane, Beyond Yoga).

I love the bruised berry After Asana pants. I love that they are french terry and have a roll down waist. Seriously....swooning over here....but no pants for North America. I will patiently wait and hope we get them in the fall!

Did you buy anything on the upload? I think (for now) I'm just going to place an online order for the sheer lemon 105f singlet, but that's it!

Lululemon Upload!

Upload time! Some pretty things tonight! I was trying to resist, but I ended up ordering two pieces:

I picked up the Chai Time pullover. I had to return my old one because it frayed around the neckline really bad but it was my absolute favorite. I wore it all the time so I was really happy to finally get a replacement. I ordered a size 4 because I feel like the TTS is a little baggy...plus the knit stretches out a little.

I also ordered the Run Times in a size 6. I really love Bleached Coral since it matches so many colors. I really liked the fit of the Run Times, but I ended up returning my Pretty Palm ones...I just don't wear a lot of Black and White.

I really wanted the 105f Singlet in Bruised Berry. I really love this color but didn't get it because I have so many tanks.

The Serenity Pants interested me, but I'm not too much of a fan of the waistband. It seems a little thick to me. I do love French Terry. 

I really wanted to see the Hotty Hot shorts in Pretty Palm Cadet Blue, but I'm a little relieved they weren't on this upload.

Lululemon Upload - Snore....

ZZZzzzz....Ok...the Lululemon upload wasn't boring....I just actually slept through it! I laid down at 7pm to take a nap and was planning on waking up by 9 pm to write some reviews and blog posts. I ended up not waking up until 6am the next morning! :( 11 hours of sleep...I guess my body thought I needed it!

I think we were all expecting the Tennis items that were in the local stores last week, but there were some interesting new items on the Upload last night:


The club shorts made an apparence again. I bought last year's version at the Orlando Outlet, but I have yet to wear mine. I wasn't a fan of the fit, but got them for more conservative golf courses. Last year's teal version was really sheer, and you could see the lining through the fabric. I got Coyote tan and the Cashew color doesn't seem much different.


I'm really interested in the Solo Bra. I tried on the Ujjayi bra and wasn't a fan. I'm hoping this one will fit better since it is made of luon. I'm going to wait and try this one on in the store.


I was also interested the Burlap Texture Inspire Crops. I haven't wore my Inspires much this winter, but they always get heavy wear in the summer. I probably would have ordered these if it wasn't for the black accents...I don't wear a lot of black, but I'm still intereste in trying these on. Canada got Pigment Inspires last night. They are really pretty, but hard to justify since I have Athleta's Blueberry Chatarunga Capris :(.

The 2014 Summer Sneak Preview video was posted and I am looking forward to their summer line. There were a few new prints and new swimwear.

Lululemon Upload - 4/21/14

Lululemon upload time last night! I think a lot of the Lulu-addicts out there were hoping for some Pigment Blue colored items, but sadly there was not many items on last nights upload. I think the stores have showed glimmers of new tennis items, but we only saw a few items last night.

The Wee Are From Space (WAFS) Cashew print was released in a Cool Racerback (CRB). I really like this print...but I'm at capacity for CRBs. I'm saving my dresser space for colors I'm really lusting for :).

I really liked Ujjayi Bra in Clearmint. I don't "need" this, but I really want it...I like that it has a low neckline in the front and the wider straps in the back. It looks like it fits like a normal bra, with the comfort of a sports bra. I want to try this on in the store to see if it cuts in or is supportive enough. I have a lot of sports bras, but I don't have any that have this neckline/back combination.

They also have a hot yoga Ujjayi capri. I'm curious about these, but would like to see them in some more colors.

I'm waiting for a Pigment Blue CRB, but I think that is the only Pigment Blue item I want. I already have Athleta Chatarunga Capri in Blueberry, so I think a pair of Wunder Unders would be a little redundant. I'm also waiting to see if they end up releasing some golf items this year.

Right now, I'm holding out for great neutrals and a new color. I know summer is approaching, but I would still love to see Current Red. I also really like the color Menthol or River Rock.

I think Methol or River Rock would be a great summer color that would go with a lot of our current colors. A neon yellow like Ray Clarity Yellow would also be great. So Currant Red, Menthol/River Rock, and Ray Clarity Yellow are on my wish list....but not in that combination :). What colors are you lusting for?

Lululemon Upload! 4/1/14

Not a lot posted last night. I set my alarm and immediately rolled back to sleep after I saw the upload. I knew the Ombre Live Natural crops would instantly sell out, but I was pretty satisfied with the grey ones I bought a month or so ago.

The fatigue Cotton Roll-Down WUC were interesting. I think I am fascinated with these because the fatigue WUP randomly disappeared a few day after I ordered them. They were uploaded for about two weeks and not a single size sold out. After two weeks, I didn't see them in the store and grabbed them before my size sold out. None of the sizes were sold out. A few days later all of the fatigue WUPs were gone. Part of me is wondering if maybe they turned these WUP into WUC since we are approaching spring. They have the same logo placement on my pants (if that matters)....but who knows....maybe I'm making a big conspiracy theory out it ;). I always wonder why Lululemon mass pulls a product...especially when it has glowing reviews and no rants of "defectivenss" (although I don't think that has stopped them in the past).



The swim line was a little bit of a let down, but I don't think I had high expectations anyways. There were no new styles and the bottoms were not modest at all. I will probably try them on in the store, but you will probably not see many photos of my lower half....no one wants to see a 29 year-old butt in something that showcases a 19 year-olds :).

My Rad Plaid speed shorts are coming today. I haven't been as chatty about Lululemon. It is kind of a good thing, because it's giving my wallet a MUCH needed break. Unfortunately, I do not get as motivated to go to the stores when there is not much I want to buy.

I do have a few more reviews coming down the pipe. I have my Lululemon Rad Plaid Speeds. My Ellie box should FINALLY be arriving today or tomorrow. Also expect an amazing Athleta review towards the end of the week. I went to the store last weekend and some of their color pallets were quite amazing! Loved the soft pinks, oatmeal browns, and whites.

Did anyone order anything last night? Especially the swimwear?

Lululmeon Upload - Galaxy and Beachscape

What a particularly interesting upload last night! I know there were a few items people were raving over, but I sat this one out!

I have been on the hunt for these silly Beachscape WUP. I had the opportunity to buy them (before they sold out a few minutes later), but decided that they were just too crazy for me. I'm glad I didn't try them on in the store so I wouldn't be tempted! Both the Galaxy and the Beachscape are obnoxious AND cute (seriously...how can it be both?)....I just think I would wear them a handful of times and then resell them.....so I decided to skip that whole process.

PEPLUM! PEPLUM is dead! It has seriously overstayed its welcome. 

I know there were some people really excited to see the Tech Mesh Tights reappear. I think they are cute on the girls that can rock them...they just are not for me!

I always look forward to the "urban" cycling line. I end up wearing those pants as golf pants, and I get tons of compliments. I can see how some may like the tuxedo look, but I had to pass on these....I cannot use them as golf pants *sigh*.

Right as Rain jacket came back in Cashew and Plum. I think a Plum Fo Drizzle would have been really cute! I don't really find this one figure hugging enough, so it was an easy pass!

VERY surprised to see that the $198 Here to There dress is sold out in every color. Maybe they didn't make that much, but still....its a $198 athletic dress. The black showed some bubbling on the bodice seaming, so I wasn't too impressed with the quality. I am looking forward to seeing this on some educators and in person, but its not for me.

There was probably some excitement for more black camo last night! There was a Free to Be Wild, CRB, and regular/tall Pacesetter skirts. I do not wear camo outside of work, but I know there was some happy Lulu addicts last night! :)/

Sooo...nothing for me. Still catching up in Charleston. I fly home Wednesday night! Did you guys order anything? I was quite tempted, but I resisted!

So that was a really odd, hodge podge, upload.  Usually when they change colors it's much more seamless....this makes me wonder if we were meant to get fatigue and camo in the winter along with deep zin. It seems like Beachscape, pop plaid, rad plaid colors should have transitioned to creamsiclce pop.

Lulu... Upload?

Not an eventful upload....I was hoping for Beachscape speed shorts. I like the galaxy like WUC, but they are so crazy I may not wear them that often...I just sold my inkblot ones for the same reason. I wasn't wearing them enought to keep them.

I ordered two CRBs with some PayPal credit, but I don't know if I will keep them both. Too lazy to make a store trip...and I don't want to be tempted with a pair of crops I don't need. I like the Beachscape CRB, but I'm worried it might be sheer, stretch to white, shiny, or bad print placement. I didn't like the beachscape CRB at first, but I've seen a few store photos that made me want to change my mind. I also really like the Bali Breeze, but I'm worried it is too close to Surge. I might sell my Surge CRB if I like my Bali Breeze one better. I really love the color Surge, but I just don't wear my CRB as much as I thought. I don't want to keeep too CRBs if they are super similar in color. I received my Ivivva tank in Grapeseed. Althought I like the color....it reminds me of Winter Orchid...it looks too similiar to power purple. I don't want a bunch of tanks without much variation.

Anyone get anything? I thought this would be a big spender for a lot of people, but I think it was really underwhelming. Hoping to see some more beachscape items and vintage pink. If I was making the list, I would ask for Galaxy (whatever that one is called...slipped my mind) in speed shorts, Beachscape speed shorts, Fatigue CRB, Vintage Pink CRB, Cashew Pacesetter in Tall, and Fatigue inspire crops.....and I'm still waiting for the Seven Days of Asana Tote to make a come back....in Fatigue, Cadet Blue, or Cashew. :)

Lulu-Upload!

Don't know if my order was placed or not. I accidentally selected an old bank account on paypal, and my real credit card was listed as a backup. I didn't receive a confirmation code, but also didn't want to get double charged...so I took it as fate. If my order goes through it was meant to be....

None of my items were truly "exciting" by any means, but I might give them a try when I'm in the store:

I was going to order the Heathered Grey WUC, but now that I'm thinking about it...I don't know how these would work with sweat. With Lulu's awesome (*insert sarcasm*) return policy, I'm not so sure I could really find out until it would be too late.

I also attempted to order a LS cadet blue Swiftly. I will still probably buy this in the store. Not only is the print really pretty, but the material itself is really soft. It is thicker and softer than my other Swiftlys.

Another deterred impulse purchase. I like this as a basic grey tank, but I already have the grey wee stripe one. This is another one I can live without.


I'm going to speak with GEC via chatroom today and see if my order was placed! Did you guys get anything?

Update - I think my order might be going through. If so, definitely returning the grey WUC. I have been reading from many people that they have bad sweat marks. My cadet blue WUC can show some sweat, but you barely see it. I decided against the cadet Inspires because I wear the WUC so much. I really like the matte look of the WUC, and that they are reversible. (FYI, I read on another blog where someone said the cadet WUC were shiny. It made me chuckle...they are as matte as you can get.) I still plan on trying on the Inspires and other WUCs (i.e. grey, denim floral) this week

Is anyone else feeling a little "full" of Lulu recently? I was jumping back and forth, filling voids of tanks, jackets, crops. After last week's purchases, I feel rather fufilled. I have enough crops, jackets, and tanks to last a lifetime. I think the only thing that will really scream "buy me" to me is some of the upcoming beachscape items. Anyone else feel that this way?

Lulu-Upload!

So many goodies last night ! I wasn't planning to order anything. I bought two tops at Free People and some other goodies at South Moon Under....but I was bad...real bad....

I got the all sport bra. I liked the higher neckline and I've never tried it before. I ordered a size 6.

I also ordered the much waited Iconic wrap. I was tempted by the Bali breeze, but I would get more use out of the grey one. I did like the stripes. I usually size down to a 2 or 4, but got a size 6 due to the tight sleeves... I hope I don't regret that decision.

I also got the cadet blue swiftly....

I really like the heathered pattern. It's really unique.

I also got a tall pacesetter skirt in cadet blue. It's too cold to think about skirts, but tall skirts are so rare. I could get a lot of use out of this color for golf, and I would be kicking myself later if I missed out.

Not a necessity, but too cute! I took my speed shorts in to return yesterday. I couldn't make it into the store this week and they had to be in by today. My store didn't have much of the new product, but I was eying these socks...by second time around, they were too cute to resist!

I really like the cadet forme, but I resisted ! I am also loving this new tye dye that came out in a towel and headband...I hope this isn't trouble! Still thinking about a Race with Grace half zip in white, but I haven't bit the bullet... Maybe later.... I'm trying to behave.
