Splits59 Sale & Nova Trailblazer Performance Capri Review

Hello ladies! Last week I took advantage of Splits59 Semi-Annual Sale. I have been wanting to try their Nova Trailblazer Performance Capri leggings for a LONG time, and their sale was a great incentive to give them a try!

I ordered the Nova Trailblazer Performance Capri in navy/blossom. They regularly retail for $98 so I was ecstatic to try them for $50. I ordered a size small based off of their size chart. I've tried a size x-small at Core72, but they were too small. (They didn't have a small at that time.)

I order the pants on July 8th and got them on July 14th. Usually shipping from the West Coast is 7-8 days so they came a little early.

When I pulled them out, I was instantly impressed with the quality of the fabric. They were definitely well made, and the material was nice and thick. I was already super excited to try these on.

The crops definitely have some great features. There is a thick iridescent piping that runs across the front of the crops. There is also a reflective piping on top of the blossom-colored piping in the back. Although there are no zip pockets, there is a generous-sized internal pocket in the front.

(Eek...I'm starting to loose my natural light!)

I really liked the fit of these. I love navy crops....they a have been slowly replacing all of my black crops, and these are great for hard workouts! The material isn't as silky as Lululemon's luxtreme fabric, but I like the overall compression in these. If you like Lululemon's Inspire Crops, you'll like these! They are well-made and look great on....plus the reflective piping is a great safety bonus for runners!

Although the length does not bother me, I will say that they are MUCH longer than I expected! I'm 5'7, and these are definitely on the longer side for crops. They look shorter in the photos. If you are a shorty, they might be full length leggings on you (unless you get them hemmed).

I really love these crops. The photos are grainy, but you can really see the reflective stripes in the back. I don't even use a flash on my camera, and they were glowing bright. I still have these on tonight and will be wearing them during my Insanity workout. I'll probably wear them again during the week. (It's always a good sign when you love something so much you want to repeat-wear it throughout the week!) I really love this style and would have no issues with paying full price....especially if they release some great colors in the fall!

Did you miss out on the sale? They are sold out of the Nova Trailblazer Performance Capri, but there are still some great styles on sale!

Update - they replenished some of their stock, and the Nova Capri are back in stock!

Did anyone pick up anything at the Splits59 Semi-Annual sale? I know a few people bought a few things during their recent flash sale a few months ago.....
