My Hotty Hot Shorts in sweet spot/angel wing finally came in. They were a few days late, but I think the 4th of July Hurricane slowed down shipments.
I really liked all of the local Lululemon photos posted of this print. The contrasting light shorts really made the colored tanks pop. Plus, I really liked my cadet palm print Hotty Hot Shorts from a few weeks ago.
When I got the shorts, I was initially a little underwhelmed with them. I didn't like the side reflective logo....it kind of stuck out a little more than the darker print. I also thought they looked a little bit like pajama shorts.
I did like them MUCH better when I tried them on. I think I'll be keeping these. They are so comfortable, and I love them more than Lululemon's Speed Shorts.
I ran into my local store really quickly yesterday to return my camo Luxtreme Wunder Under Crops (WUC) and Rollin' With My Ommies Tank. I really liked the tank, but I figured I didn't LOVE since the tags were still attached a week later.
I am also surprised I liked the camo (since I am completely against camo), but the Luxtreme WUC fit a little funky. They were a little low on the behind...I felt like I had to pull them up which was odd!
My local store just got the camo Inspire Crops in....what lucky timing! I snatched up a pair in size 6.
The Luxtreme was still a little slick on the Inspire Crops, but the high waistband helped these stay up. MUCH better. The fit definitely better than the WUC.
I didn't even want to rip off the tags of the WUC, but I instantly ripped off these. I don't know if I'll want to hang on to my camo ones forever, but I don't think I would have an issue with finding these a new home.
