Lululemon Chai Time Pullover and Run Times Shorts

I finally got my Lululemon package in! It always seems odd to receive the package AFTER the next week's upload, but I guess that's just east coast shipping.

I ordered the Chai Time II Pullover in heathered dune (size 4) and Run Times Shorts in bleached coral/flowabunga multi print (size 6).

My photo didn't turn out, but I actually was able to try these on in a size 4 last week. I accidentally ordered a size 6 even though my first pair of Run Times was a size 4. I guess the 4-way stretch sizing is completely different because the size 4 was waaay too small. My poor butt looked like a stuffed sausage....not a flattering fit at all!

I really like the color of these. I tried a pair of flowabunga Speed Shorts on a few weeks ago, but they were not for me.  I like the Run Times Shorts have the print on the waistband vice all over.

The fit is also really comfortable since it is 4-way stretch. As you can see, the material is a little on the thin side. You can slightly see the lining, but it isn't as noticeable as some pairs in the past (*ahem* zing pink Speed Shorts with BLACK lining).

I like the longer look of these. Sometimes the shorter shorts are not always appropriate for my workouts. I haven't decided if I will keep them yet, but I do really like the bright color and fit.

I was completely disappointed with the Chai Time Pullover. I was hoping to find a replacement after the neckline came unraveled on my silver spoon one.

This sweater looks and felt 100% generic when I pulled it out of the packaging. It was boxy, thin, and was not reversible like other versions. It felt like it could have came from Gap or Old Navy. I'm not knocking those brands...I have shopped there, but their pullovers do not cost anywhere close to $88. There was just nothing special about it that made it worth the price.

The fit looked ok, but it was slightly on the shorter side. For $88, I'm not impressed. I would have rather paid $108 and got my original Chai Pullover that was reversible. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return this. Maybe they will come out with the old version in the fall....I don't recommend this version.

So that's it for today. I was a little disappointed with the upload! I really want that new Downtown Jacket in spraydye bleached coral on the Australian site. I'm also lusting their pigment Forme Jacket and Tuck and Flow pullovers. I guess it's good for my wallet that they aren't in North America. I've been saving my money on these Lululemon uploads. It seems like they haven't been cranking out a bunch of products I absolutely "needed" wanted.

Did you order anything from this week's upload?
