Athleta Store Visit

I went to Athleta a few weeks ago to check out their City Pant collection, and I was really impressed with their spring line. Athleta has really stepped up over the last several months and I have been very happy with all of my recent purchases!

The first two items I tried on was the Sintra Sweater in Oatmeal Heather and the Shimmy Shorts in Granite Grey. I really liked both of these items. The sweater was really lightweight and would make a great spring/summer cover-up. I liked that I could throw it over a sports bra after a hot workout or under a tank top when I went out. I also really liked the Shimmy Shorts for their versatility. They looked like a pair of casual shorts, but the material was silky and dry-fit. They are made of the same material of the city pant collection. I could easily wear these out or at the gym.

The next two items I tried on was the Illuminate tank and the La Vida pant in Dress Blue. I really liked the neckline of the top, and it was cut to flow perfectly over a racerback bra.

The pants were pretty great too. The City Pant collection has awesome material. They are all really silky and lightweight. I really like that these were also more fitted in the leg and had a drawstring in the bottom to wear as crops. Since they are narrower, the drawstring doesn't "balloon" out like some other brands with wider pant legs. I ultimately didn't get the pants because I already have a pair of navy track pants that are similar.

I really liked these but wasn't brave enough to make the plunge. The Easy Peazy Ankle pant has a little higher waist and pleats in the front. It was something I would have never went for, but ended up loving! I also liked the brownish color in "shale."

I also tried the Andale pant in black and the Inner Twist hoodie in white. The hoodie was ridiculously comfy and I really liked how they draped. The Andale pant in black was nice too, but I don't wear a lot of black :(.

The biggest surprise was the Tee Racerback Dress in Dress Blue Heather! I really liked how it was loose on the top and had a rouched fitted bottom. It was a really cute fit!

Overall, I was really impressed with everything I tried on....I wanted it all! So what did I get? Check it out on my next post :).
