I have been playing golf for the last four days and it has been amazing! I have been at The Legends in Parris Island, SC for at least 6-8 hours a day. I was skeptical before I was interested in golf, but golf is a very athletic sport to those who take it serious! I had all these grand ideas of hot yoga and lifting everyday, but my muscles have been exhausted and barely recovered enough to play every day! I have hopes of competing seriously this year, so it has been quite a "boot camp" of lessons this week!

So I did a little trip to the Lululemon store in Charleston last Wednesday....had a really annoying educator experience (read at the end of this post).
It was a little breezy in Charleston, so I threw on my fatigue Fo Drizzle jacket....I seriously love this jacket and it was so comfy. I guess a lot of local stores only got black, because I get a ton of comments every time I wear it in the store. I wore it with skinny jeans, a light pink Express tank, and my Frye Veronica slouch boots.
I was quite shocked to see ONE camo Rise and Shine in a size 6. I don't like camo, but I was too tempted to try it on. I don't really understand the big fuss over this jacket. It is really boxy and not that flattering. I can see why awesome LuluMen blogger, Eric, can rock it so well.....It does not look cute for a women. Don't expect a figure hugging jacket if you order this online. Its baggy and boxy....it didn't come in a bit at the waist. With the camo, it looked tomboyish or like you were wearing your boyfriend's jacket.
Note - I did put an immediate notice on Lululemon Chat group on Facebook. Since it was so expensive, I didn't want to buy it and then it be a huge ordeal to angel it. Luckily someone got back to me within minutes, so I took it up to the register and bought it for them. If it was a cheaper item and I wasn't on vacation, I would have posted it on my blog....I just didn't have the time to post and wait for a response.
Tried the Transformation Wrap and it flowed really pretty in the front. I think the length is perfect for taller girls, but might be overwhelming for shorter ones. While I really liked the front, I would have preferred a flat back. I think the gathered drawstring looks a little off in the back. There hasn't been too many photos that I like.
Also tried the Flip Your Dog LS in fatigue but was a little disappointed on how large it ran. I tried a size 2....2 sizes down from my TTS (6) and it was swimming on me. I like looser tops, but this one mad me look large around the waist.
I also bought the Tuck Me (?) tank in white. I need to check the tag for the exact name. It was $48, but it was crazy soft. I really liked the fit and it will be a definite wardrobe staple in the summer. It will look great with dark skinny jeans and some flat sandals.
They didn't have much of the newer products on Wednesday, but I plan on trying again next week.

So...finally. Educator annoyance. I am already aware that educators get first dibs on new product....it's a perk of the job. Despite knowing that....it is really frustrating to find most of the 4s and 6s completely sold out because that is a common educator size.
When I was in the store on Wednesday, I was looking for the beachscape WUP and fatigue Cotton Roll Down pants. I asked the educators and they said they didn't have them and haven't unpacked their new shipment yet. As I'm talking to them and looking around the store, an educator prances down the stairs in a new Camo CRB and new pants. (These items have not been placed on the racks yet.) She giggles and models her new "outfit" to the other educators...some of them running up the stairs to go grab their size. Then she rips the tags off at the register and hands it to the educator at the register to ring it up for her.
Wow....I knew they snatch up all of the product, but I was never expecting them to do it in front of customers who are willing to pay full price....especially on items that have yet to make it downstairs to the racks. They were completely smug and had no awareness or care to the customers around them.
While this is something that I expect to happen BEFORE or AFTER working hours....I am not accustomed to this kind of behavior during the middle of the day! No wonder hot items like Milky Way WUC or Black Camo WUC never even make it to the rack. You would think that the company would be more interested in selling to customers at full price, than an educator at discount price. Why let an educator buy and wear an item in the store, when they customer cannot even purchase it? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of having educators wear current products? To get them interested in items they can walk out with?
Sorry....just a vent. I have had a few poor educator experiences when I lived in Charleston. The educators in DC have been really great...especially at Logan Circle (seriously never a bad experience....always really great)...I wasn't prepared to see the "typical" poor educator behaviors.
