Insightful Athlete: Lululemon and Athleta Georgetown Store Visit

SNOW DAY! Now work today....the government shut down early last night, so it was nice to fall asleep and not have to worry about checking for updates at 4 am.

I went to Georgetown yesterday. I haven't been there in awhile and I wanted to check out Athleta for more Chatarunga Capris (looove them).

I wore my fatigue Fo Drizzle, heathered plum Karma LS, and Frye Kira slip on shoes. I didn't realize that none of the DC stores got the Fo Drizzle in fatigue....only Bethesda....on the one day I happened to stop by their store. I had at least 3 educators come up to me and talk about my jacket. I guess it is a little of a role reversal since they usually get first dibs on the things I'm chasing after!

It was actually quite practical yesterday. It was cloudy and not too cold, but it ended up raining. My zip out hood was definitely a must and I was grateful to have it!

I tried on the Yogi Anorak Jacket in cadet blue. It is made just like a DSJ...same materials on the inside and outside. I didn't really find it cute....it seemed a little frumpy to me.

The Nice Asana was nice, but I think I am more of a Forme girl. I still really love this color though.

I also tried on the Platoon WUP and Every Yogi tee. The WUP were really hard to resist. If these were WUC, I may have left with them.....but I'm trying to be good. The print did remind me a lot of Brisk Bloom...the only different was the material was nicer. These were on the denim material and didn't stretch to white, while the Brisk Bloom ones were really thin and shiney.

Couldn't resist the Breath Easy bra in Bali Breeze. I have this in Clarity Yellow. The Breath Easy and Hook Me Up bras have been some of my favorite bras.

I tried on the two tanks I ordered. I'm glad I liked them both. The Bali Breeze isn't like the Heathered Medium Grey like someone asked. The Medium Grey is much softer and thinner. The Bali Breeze is nice though and it is also reversible like the grey one.

The print placement on the Beachscape CRB was waaay different by size. I happened to really like the print placement of the one I tried on. I didn't like any of the other print placements in the other sizes.....a lot of them were heavy on the cadet blue and flare. I ended up getting this one, and I'll return the one I ordered online. It does stretch to white, but it doesn't when its on me. Other blogs have said this is very sheer....I didn't find it sheer at all....it was really cute.

In Athleta, I tried on the Chai LS in white stripe and the Chatarunga Capri in Catalina Green. The Chai LS was way too sheer....did not like. I tried on a white Shiva Top and it was MUCH better....it fit and felt like my Lululemon Karma LS. I think the Karma is slightly softer, but I still liked the Shiva.

I also tried the Chillax Capri in heather grey. They were really cute and had coral drawstring tips. I wanted them, but I didn't really need or had to have them.

I tried the Bettona Jegging in Shale Heather...they were really tempting, but then I was like "uh...how lazy am I?" It's bad enough I wear yoga pants too much. I passed on these for the sake of my sanity....I would have never wore jeans again!

Had to get the Breath Easy bra in Bali Breeze. Its easily becoming one of my favorite colors. My new Catalina Green Athleta Chaturunga Capri match perfectly.

Like I said earlier, my ordered Beachscape is going to be returned. I really like the print placement on this. If I would have received a flair/cadet combo, I wouldn't have been happy...

I just ordered a pair of Bali Breeze leggings from Ivivva, but they will probably go back. These were $54 and I got a 30% instructor discount. $38 is a lot better than Lululemon's $72.

I also got the Shiva top in white. I have really been wanting a basic white LS to wear to and from the gym....especially with bright leggings.

Just like my Blueberry ones...the fit is quite amazing. The material is thinner, but they are really opaque. I had my Lululemon nude undies on and I couldn't see a thing.....it was such a prety color.
