Finally.....Onzie Review!

I finally got to get my photos uploaded for my Onzie review! After hearing some great buzz about Onzie, I was able to get in touch with their company and they were nice enough to send me an outfit for review!

Straight from the Onzie website:
"Created by a 20 year Bikram Yogi, Onzie blends the best of traditional yoga wear with modern innovation and a touch of whimsy. The result? Active apparel that is functional, flexible and flattering. At Onzie our philosophy is "keep your practice challenging, and your wardrobe simple!" Onzie's no-frills one-pieces and separates are best worn while sweating, swimming, or simply lounging around. In keeping with the principle of being inclusive, rather than exclusive, Onzie is affordably-priced and suitable for all activities and practices. Onzie products are made with love in southern California."

Oooh....I do love that this company manufactures in America! ...and what is "made with love in southern California"?

"All parts of our process including knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, photography, marketing, distribution and design all happen in Los Angeles, CA."

After hearing some great feedback from blog readers and reading up on the company, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out some of their charmingly cooky prints....and it was so hard to chose the print....I wanted them all!

After some careful thought and deliberation, I decided to try the Capri Pant in Tahitian Flowers, Criss-Cross Bra Top in Coral, and V Back Top in Black.

The Capri Pant in Tahitian Flowers retail for $56 and I got these in a S/M. The print was refreshingly vibrant. The material was silky and thin....perfect for hot yoga. I was initially worried with the white being too sheer, but they were completely opaque on! We've had a chilly winter, but I can't wait to wear these for trapeze and yoga...especially when it starts getting super hot!

I had my Lululemon "light as air" nude thong on.....you couldn't see a thing. Even though the material was really light, it didn't show every "lump and bump" either.

I also really liked the rise on the waistband. It was low rise, but not scandalously low.

The V Back Top in Black retails for $45 and came in one size. The material was really silky like the pants, and they weren't scratchy.

I was a little concerned that this would be too large as one size, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was fitted, yet loose. I also really liked the deep V back....I can show off all of my pretty sports bras. I like the feel of the material, and I already have plans on also wearing this to the pool this summer!

The Criss-Cross Bra Top in Coral retails for $42 and I got this in a S/M. It looks identical to Lululemon's Free to Be bra. The only thing I did notice was that this bra does not come with cups or inserts. It had the same material as the top and pants and felt really silky.

I think I kinda fudged up on my sizing. I ordered a S/M because I was worried that the band would be too loose on the M/L based on the measurements. The bra still fits well....but its a tad on the small size. I'm wondering if I'm in between sizes. It won't stop me from wearing it because it was super comfy and it's not too tight as in I'm spilling or have bulges. I'm just super nit picky on fit! I already wore it a few times. Even without padding, there was very little "highbeams". I could barely see them if I had my bra off and that was it. I really like it!

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and this brand will continue to be on my radar! I'm already starting to eye some prints to purchase on my own! Loving Galaxy, Illusion, Monet, and Meadow! Definitely a company to watch if you looove funky prints like I do!

Have you guys tried Onzie? If so, feel free to post your photos in the comment section! I loved some of the reader photos I've seen in recent posts!
