Brand Review: Fabletics

I got my Fabletics package tonight. There were some good and bad, but unfortunately I think all of thems are going back. :(

I paid $97.85 and I got a tank, two long sleeve shirts, a pair of crops, and a headband. I have liked my two past Fabletics orders in November and December, so I was really excited for my package to come in.

My "outfit" of the month was "Fuel." It came with a lemon colored tank, french terry sweats, and a headband.

I was a little disappointed that my headband did not match at all. They had the same color name, but they were almost completely different colors. The headband also did not have plastic grips on the bottom. The material of the tank felt really buttery and soft though. The lemon color had a green tint to it....kind of like split pea. I do not like split pea for some reason, so that was another downer.

The material on the sweats was soft too. It wasn't AS thick as more premium brands like Lululemon, but it still felt nice.

While the material of both items felt nice, the fit was slightly off on both pieces. I ordered a size XS in the tank after reading reviews that the straps ran big. It is really comfortable and I can really see wearing as a casual tank, but the back of the top doesn't really fit quite right. Even though I like the material, I'm going to return it because of the color and fit of the back.

The sweats were a slight bust as well. I wasn't happy how the crotch was looking. I could have overlooked that aspect, but the cuffs on the bottom were too big and kept falling down. They are supposed to be worn pushed up....the length would look ridiculous if they were worn relaxed. They would have been a comfy pair of sweats if the cuffs on the bottom weren't so huge on me. When I want to be comfy, I don't want to keep pushing up my pants.

I also ordered the Tranquil T in Charcoal to see if it was a good substitute for Lululemon's Weightless Crew. I loved the weightless crew, but I felt like it was too expensive for the type of shirt it was.

The material on this one was also really buttery and soft. They definitely doing something right with the fabric. All of the fabric felt great.

The fit felt great, but the pocket was such an oddball! The pocked was right underneath my boob! It was so weird. It was really lightweight and comfy, but I can't get over the pocket underboob thing.

The last shirt I got was the Desio top. I order the Nora jacket last month, but I thought I would rather have the top over the jacket.

The material was really thick and soft. I was excited to try it on.

There was a chevron print on the front and the back of the shirt.

The top was soft and felt comfortable. I think it would be a cheaper alternative to Lululemon's Swiftly LS, but I don't think the print is as flattering on me. It kind of makes me look boxy. I probably would have kept it without the print. I didn't get to return my Nora jacket, so I'm glad I kept it. I liked it a lot more on me than the Desio jacket. One of the readers mentioned she returned her Desio for the Nora jacket.....after trying it on, I can see why.

So....it was a bust for me. :( I think I'm sending everything back. I have good experiences with Fabletics in prior months, so I'm going to still give them another try. I think they are on the way there with their materials. I like their materials a lot better than my Ellie subscription items...I just think they have a little ways to go with the fit, but they are almost there.
