So I made a sporadic trip to my local Logan Circle Lulu. (Love the educators....always so nice!) I had to make an exchange and I was curious to see some of the new items in person.
The Bandit Jacket was really pretty in Baroque Blue. I liked the material and the fit wasn't bad. The only thing I didn't like was the ruffle-like detail at the shoulders and the gathering around the waist. This is a pretty color though. (This is a size 4 BTW.)
Tried the CRB in Apex Stripe Baroque Blue. I thought it was really cute, but it was very limited on the bottoms I could wear with it.
The Track Tee felt thin. I went ahead and sized down to a size 4. My TTS is a size 6 on all tops and size 4 on CRBs. I can go back and forth between 4 and 6 on Swiftlys depending on how I want the fit to be. Even as a size down, it is baggy if you like the looser fit around your stomach. I can see other girls liking this though. I have never been a fan of cap sleeves on me, so I said no to the "babydoll" tee.
(BTW, I had an accidental nip-slip on my sports bra....I wanted to keep this PG rated, so I "censored" it out! lol)
The weightless crew actually felt nice. I can see yogis wanting this to have as a light layer after hot yoga. It definitely would be nice for sticky weather. I liked it, but I wasn't "in love" with it or "needed" it.
I tried the Flip Your Dog LS and I was torn between liking it and hating it. I had to go TWO sizes down to a size 2 to make it look somewhat fitted. I did like the shape, and the material felt lightweight in a good way. I didn't like the seams going down the shoulder...its what made it feel weird to me. I probably would have bought this if it didn't have the seams down the shoulder. There are many big box brands (like Express) that make dolman style tops without those weird seams.
This is the size 4 in Fresh Teal....can you believe it! I was swimming in it and it was a size down! Be careful ordering this one online....order with caution.
The Happy Yin Year sweats were ok, but I preferred my Bliss Break sweats.

I ended up getting an oldie....a Free to Be Bra in Hyper Stripe Angel Wing. It's one of my favorite patterns...so I'm glad I picked one up.
The night was also a bust, so I got the new White Wee Stripe Vinyasa. It is Rulu FYI....I know some people were asking.
It will be a great neutral to have. I don't wear much black, but I can wear grey/white with navy or black.

FYI.....Starting to snow crazy outside! I was only away for a half hour, and snow is already building up.
It's coming down heavy on the east coast.....I'm wondering if I will have work tomorrow!
