Product Review - Photos (Part II)

Following up on my Lululemon store visit today with some photos!

My Parallel Stripe Wunder Under Crops are here!!!!! :) I really like them. I'm glad I got my anxiety out of the way by trying them on in the store! I don't have to worry if I should have at sized down or not or bought the WUP over the WUC.

Here's some photos of the back, side, and front:

I think they are very soft and opaque. I have black underwear and you can't see it through the white parts. I'm under the assumption Lululemon went through a lot of quality checks on this one, because it would be a HUGE holiday flop if these were sheer...even in the slightest.

Even though it was very slight, the front stripes were more flattering in the larger size.

I'm wearing my Parallel Stripe WUC with my new Heathered Angel Blue Swiftly LS. LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. Turns out, it is nothing like my other blues...there is a slight hint of green. It reminds me of Tiffany & Co. blue.

Here is a closer look of the Parallel Stripe Fleet Street pullover. As you can see, it is a little on the boxy side.

I thought the floral version was slightly shorter. This one isn't short, but don't expect it hug your curves. There is Rulu panels underneath the arms. This came in handy for my golf lesson tonight....I was sweating a little, but only where there was Rulu.

Here's a closer look at the print. I like it because the black isn't deep black...it's like a really dark grey compared to my Parallel Stripe WUC. The knit pattern is what sold me over.

Here's another look of the underside of the fabric. In my opinion, this is what makes this pullover unique. It has the appearance of a knit top on the outside (true knit, not printed), but it has a super-soft fleece inside...which is great for working out. I pulled at the material to make sure it was just once piece...its not two pieces bonded together. For me, its the perfect blend of causal athletic.

Still loving my pique leggings. Even though my first pair was "defective," I didn't get a lot of use out of pique leggings in Charleston. At that time, I was mainly doing hot yoga...these were just too thick. Charleston is also warmer 90% of the year. I will get a lot more use out of these in DC.

Another closer look of the fabric. They are very cozy and soft.

Here's the detail of the print. I remembered what was pilling from my first pair....it was the white part of the fabric. I'm going to keep an eye for pilling. Mine was so bad last year I could see little fuzzies far away in the mirror. You shouldn't notice pilling until you get up close with the pants.

So that's all for now. I'm going to look at the upload tonight, but there isn't too much on my "want" list. I still want an Iconic Wrap and a Universal Stripe Base Runner LS. The Universal Stripe looks a little masculine, but I think that's why I like it. With all of my ruffles, pinks, and girly accents....I'm ready for a bit of a gritty-like print.

I think after the Iconic Wrap and the Base Runner, I'm ready for a little Lulu break. I'll still occasionally swing by the local stores, but I will be slowing down on actual purchases.
