Meant to post this last night...
Went to Clarendon Lululemon to return a few items. My paisley inkwell speed tights and inkwell practice daily crops were sheer. I kept my tags on the speed tights but lost the receipt. They weren't crazy sheer, but enough I didn't rip off the tags.
My practice daily crops were a shock. I'm sorry for not reporting the sheerness earlier. I thought 100% they were fine, but I put them on and bent over before I ripped off the tag. I did this in the store, but sometimes their lighting is tricky. They failed the bent over test big time. I'm baffled on this, because they are "full on" luxtreme. I really wanted to keep them, but couldn't justify it. I have four pairs of inspires, and they aren't sheer at all. These were "full on" luxtreme. It sounds odd...they felt thicker and more compressive, but they were not as opaque as the regular ones.
I also took back my pique vinyasa. I just don't think I'm going to use it. I would have angeled it to someone, but they seemed to have them in bulk like the gratitude wraps.
I was also going to return my base runner half-zip in surge. I kept the tags, but decided to keep it. I love surge, and I think they are starting to phase out this color. I only have a crb, so it stayed with me.
What I wore to the driving range: AE grey LS, inkwell Track to Reality, and New Balance trail shoes.
Tried the Keep it Up pant in soot light. These pants fit weird. Felt loose, but looked like they were too tight. It's a shame...I wanted these to work.
Also tried the Paris perfection crb and inkwell Cozy Speed tights. These were sheer too.
The girls were nice, but gave me baffled looks that my pants were sheer. They asked if I was sizing right. I don't mind going up a size for good fit, but I refuse to go up a size to compensate for poor quality. I have Inspire crops in a size 4 and 6. None of them cut into me or feel tight. None of them are sheer. I'm not going wear baggy running crops to make up for their sheerness. Runners do bend over. I ran NCAA div I XC and Track in college. It's called stretching and plyometric drills. Runners do need to bend over.....just another excuse for lack of quality. *sigh*
I was able to get credit for my vinyasa and practice daily crops, but it was a stretch to exchange my Speed tights. There were some things I wanted online, but not so much in the store. I ended up getting the Paris perfection crb, winter orchid hand towel, two fly away tamers, and their new water bottle in surge.
(Sorry for the car pic... I'm multitasking!)
