Herringbone Nice Asana and Store Visit

So I got my Herringbone Nice Asana jacket in, and I'm having mixed feeling about it. I thought I liked it on me, but after I snapped a few photos I realized it didn't fit that well.  (There are a few perks of blogging, because I can use my camera to see how things look on me....it gives me a different perspective.) I'm definitely glad I ordered it online. Even though it took a week, my local stores never got this one in last week.

Herringbone Nice Asana Jacket, aquamarine CRB, black Inspire Crops, and Juicy Couture Boots
I think its because the herringbone....it runs small. A size up would be too big in the arms, but the torso is slightly too small....which is odd because I would say I am between a 4 and 6 in the other Nice Asanas. This one pulls enough in the torso, it never lies flat. I already love my pique forme....so I might return this one. I really wanted a longer jacket, but I don't think this color/material combination is for me.

I tried on the Dhyana SS in blue moon. I really liked how this shirt flowed and how the material felt, but it was too thin. My bra was completely see through, so I didn't think it was worth $58. Its something I might keep an eye out on markdown.

I also tried the Virasana Wrap. I tried on a size 4 because size 6 was out, but it seemed that even a size 4 would be really big on me.The neck was interesting, but the collar didn't look good zipped down. It was pretty frumpy and shapeless. If I would have known this wasn't on the site, I would have looked at the price.

I also tried on the rose herringbone scuba. It is a really pretty print. I would love a CRB in this print.

I also tried the Aria II tank for me, but it was a bust. I really wanted this tank to work as a causal top, but I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that the material was luxtreme. I don't like this for my tops, because I can't wear it as a causal top. I also tried it in my usual size 6, and I didn't think it did anything for my boobs....if anything they made them look matronly.

The knit happens scarf was nice, but I thought it was overpriced at $88. It was good quality, but it wasn't special enough to be almost $90.

I also really liked the In the Flow crops and found these pretty opaque.

I was REALLY interested in the skinny Groove pants. I had two pairs of skinny wills, but I found myself not wearing them that much....so I sold my black ones. I didn't like how the will pants created a bulge under longer tanks, like CRBs. I did like the relaxed bottoms. I was hoping these would have worked because they had a flat waistband.

These were supposed to be the full on skinny grooves. They were cushy and felt thick, but they were actually sheer! While it didn't show every lump and bump, it failed the bend over test big time. My underwear showed big lines, and I saw a big white tag when I barely bent over....and these were slightly big!

I'm hoping this is a fluke and there are others that are better....I'm going to try on a few pairs from other stores to see if they get any better. I did like the material and fit though.

I ended up getting the Heart Opener LS in Deep Zin. I looove this color. I like it so much better than plum! The material feels more like a sweater, and it is one piece of material even though it is reversible (instead of two shirts sewn together)...just like the Chai pullover. I ended up getting a size 4, but I flux between size 4 and 6 tops. If you were in between, I would definitely go down instead of up. The only thing I didn't like as much was the striped collar. I would have rather had a solid color, with stripes on one side.

Well there looks like more good ones to come. I'm excited for beautiful baroque. I don't really go for the WUPs, but I have a feeling these will be mine! I'm also hoping for a zin beautiful baroque CRB too!
