Why you should work with me?

My athletic AND technical background make me unique to the blogging world. Not only am I one of the only independent fitness apparel bloggers (i.e., not associated to a fitness brand or store), I have a great eye for fit and quality of technical apparel.  I am a well-rounded athlete that understands the performance needs but also appreciates the design appeal of fitness apparel.

My mom and grandmother taught me to sew for 10 years; this has been a valuable skill that has helped me understand where and how garments are supports to fit the female body.  My work background in technical project management and lean six sigma has also allowed me to understand production and quality control.

Although my blog is a hobby, I treat my blog relationships with companies as professional business. It’s not about free clothes or reader giveaways; there is a two way relationship between a blogger and a company that provides a mutual benefit on both ends. 

My Policy Regarding Product Reviews

Integrity is everything to me. My blog receives credibility by providing honest feedback on fitness apparel. Readers consider brands I promote because I do not automatically provide a glowing review for a free pair of shoes and $50. If I were to recommend every item with glowing reviews, readers eventually would no longer trust my opinion on an item I'm reviewing. It kind of defeats the purpose of the blog, eh?

I do not write product reviews without reviewing the item; therefore, I must receive an item to provide a comprehensive product review.  All product reviews require paid compensation unless I directly reach out to a company or negotiate the terms in advance.  Product in lieu of compensation is typically only for companies I already have existing relationships with and will only accepted on a case-by-case basis.  My rate for product reviews varies and depends on the review length, requirements, and product received.

If you have an activewear product you wish for me to review, please send me an email with the following information:

·         Company name and website

·         Product information (type of product)

·         Review requirements (post content)

·         Social media requirements

·         Submitting timelines and deadlines

Note- I do not review fitness/dietary supplements, exercise books/DVDs, or food.
